shutdown broken after networkmanager upgrade.

i've recently switched to kernel26ck and upgraded networkmanager to 0.6.5. after a headache regarding the "network" group and some crashed sessions after restarting networkmanager without having my user in the network group, i've finally made it working again. kind of. now my laptop won't normally shutdown (as it did before, or as it still does, if i don't actually connect to a network). it tries sending a kill 15 signal to networkmanger but my shutdown process will just hang after trying to sync my hardware clock. i guess the point where stops it's pretty arbitrary, but i'm pretty sure it got something to do with networkmanager.

any ideas?
