drwxr-xr-x 7 root root 4.0K 2007-05-08 17:55 home
drwxr-xr-x 7 root root 4.0K 2007-05-08 09:01 lib

dr-xr-xr-x 123 root root 0 2007-05-08 16:33 proc
drwxr-x--- 14 root root 4.0K 2007-05-08 17:56 root
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4.0K 2007-05-08 17:14 sbin
drwxr-xr-x 11 root root 0 2007-05-08 16:33 sys
drwxrwxrwt 14 root root 4.0K 2007-05-08 21:09 tmp
drwxr-xr-x 12 root root 4.0K 2007-05-08 09:01 usr
drwxr-xr-x 16 root root 4.0K 2007-04-26 22:27 var

I had this directory once before but didn't know what it was so i deleted it.
But now i want to know what it is. If i try to move to /-q:

[root@jordz-laptop /]# cd -q/
bash: cd: -q: invalid option
cd: usage: cd [-L|-P] [dir]

I see nothing suspicious in htop.
It's on my laptop not a server or something.
I use it at school and other places, but i don't got a (software) firewall installed.
I only run samba and sshd.

Maybe somebody can help me and tell me what it is ?
Thanks!

Re: Strange directory: /-q

Maybe you just created it by mistake?
If you want to cd into it, try cd \-q or cd "-q"

cd \-q or cd "-q" both don't work, i already tried that.
I don't think i created it by mistake, because this is the second time
i see this exactly the same directory, maybe some package created this directory by mistake?
