Hello word !
Do you know a software (preferably that work with kde) which makes it possible to share large files ? Like pando or podmail ?
I would like to send a link by mail which would make it possible to download a video file using p2p ...
Thank you for your assistance.:)

You could create a torrent in KTorrent (with DHT only or adding some public tracker, there are lots of them) and send the .torrent file via mail.

If you're going to host from your own machine and to one person at a time, apache (or lighttpd) is pretty awesome (I use it myself for sharing files to friends).
If you're going to share it to a lot of people at the same time, creating and tracking a torrent might be useful.

What specifically doesn't work?
Try adding a public tracker, like "http://tracker.prq.to/announce".

This is my config KTorrent file:
The file or folder of witch you want to create a torrent: video.avi
Size of each chunk: 256 ko
Start seeding the torrent: yes
Private Tracker: uncheck
Decentralized : check
DHT nodes:
IP or Hostname Port
"my ip adress" 19999
My torrent file name is test.torrent and i try to download it using opera browser which allows torrent file transfert.
What is wrong ?

For the reason of file transferring I've got a ftp server running.

moustic, if you're checking whether it work locally (on the same host), remember to disable ipfilter plugin (it blocks localhost).
If it doesn't work remotely, remember to set (open, forward?) your ktorrent ports (basic and DHT) properly.
