Connected with wlan0, howto share eth0

I have a laptop and its connest to my router(far away) using wireless. I also have an other computer without wireless card, but with an ethernet card. How can connect the two computers with an ethernet cable and get network working on the second.

I think you have to do something like this, but instead of using the hotsap driver, use your normal wireless card and set

wlan0="wlan0 mode managed etc..."

to keep your wireless card in status quo...

The rest should work as is

Yes, bridging is the way to go here.

Unfortunately, it does not work with some wireless nics which have stupid firmwares.

For these, use IP routing or IP masquerading instead.
