eth0 only working during setup

Hi all,

I've got quite a strange problem:  my network card only works during setup.  It's an 8139 based card and works fine during the initial setup but I cannot get the system to recognise it afterwards.

I've tried various combinations of 8139too and 8139cp modules but to no avail.

Is there a way of running a similar setup program when Arch has been installed? I'm stuck for ideas and want to get that box up and running.

Any help would be greatly received.

UPDATE:

Previously, setup (0.8) detected my network card.  I just downloaded "duke" and that fails to even find it during setup.  I've been wondering if it was something to do with my PCI controller .. 'lshwd' shows it as "AMD-751 PCI to PCI bridge" but the module comes up as "unknown".

Any ideas?

Re: eth0 only working during setup

Check dmesg for a clue to eth0.....itmay have changed to eth1?
