from the Wiki: WPA support

In the wiki, under wireless, it says:

WPA support phydeaux created a great patch for WPA support which has been adopted straight into the main tree and will be in the next release (after 0.7.1).

Has this been implemented yet? How do I know the difference/how do I take advantage of it?

Re: from the Wiki: WPA support

How do I use it, then? And will it in any way make my life easier? Currently, I'm using NetworkManager, and - as I also see from the forum - the interaction with wpa_supplicant isn't the easiest thing in the world. I loose the connection at (ir)regular intervals
