Strange wireless problem after reinstall

I am currently getting this error when the network daemon starts up

Error, arch: ioctl SIOCGIFHWADDR: No such device

This has been happening every since I rebooted (as in shutdown -r now). My connection was fine before.

I believe that the root of the problem is this kernel error

Aug 13 22:05:55 arch ndiswrapper (set_encr_mode:673): setting encryption mode to 6 failed (C00000BB)

Something is definitely wrong since my wireless network isn't even encrypted (I use MAC filtering).

Anyone have an idea?

Like I said, it was working before (with arch) and my network was encrypted then.

Re: Strange wireless problem after reinstall

Hold on so you used to use arch linux and your network was encrypted? What distro are you using now? Have you still got any config files which are setting up your interface for an encrypted network maybe?
