Hi, I have a rather annoying issue:
-rw-r----- 1 root log 451M 2007-09-03 23:34 everything.log
-rw-r----- 1 root log 451M 2007-09-03 23:34 kernel.log
-rw-r----- 1 root log 450M 2007-09-03 23:34 iptables.log
-rw-r----- 1 root log 885K 2007-09-03 22:49 messages.log
they are all filled with
Sep 3 23:35:08 arch Unknown InputIN=eth0 OUT= MAC=ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:00:19:5b:46:49:db:08:00 SRC=0.0.0.0 DST=255.255.255.255 LEN=330 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=128 ID=15 PROTO=UDP SPT=68 DPT=67 LEN=310
Variables change(MAC, SRC, etc). I even got such things from RIPE on my internet interface. These seem to be broadcast messages, and there is someone on my network that seems to be playing with dhcp... I'm getting from him and other 2 dhcp servers about 50kb/s of data (my PC blocks them - I hope). The thing is... I'm using pppoe...
Is this normal behavior?
