Leaving ADS domain

So, my Active Directory DC is gone, and I completely forgot my laptop was on that domain. So I tried to leave the domain with net ads leave and I get an error about no logon servers, which is true...there is none. Is there no way to leave an AD domain if there is no DC?

Re: Leaving ADS domain

No way to do this? That would seem rather silly...

Re: Leaving ADS domain

I know in windows you can switch to a workgroup and it will throw an error because it's trying to remove the computer from being listed in Users and Computers.  Despite the error it will still remove you from the domain.  I'm not sure what happens when it comes to linux though.
