Hit a dead-end in this procedure that was successful on pclinuxos.
Rather be running Arch. Did so until about a year ago when I became mobile. Had to go (ugh) W...XP to use the laptop.
Now I do:
lsusb
rmmod usbserial
modprobe usbserial vendor=0x1199 product=0x0120
from here in pclinuxos I use kppp to configure and successfully connect.
But I don't have kde installed yet, so..
Tried wvdial/pppconfig -- not found
I have the iso for Arch voodoo 0.8. Can I install kde from that CD.
What can you tell me that will get me over this hurdle?
