network lags from time to time

i have a problem with my wlan connection. i am using iwl3945 with my t60p.
everything works fine except that the status LEDs are not active when using this driver. that is not really a problem (but if anyone knows a solution...)

the real problem is that the connection lags from time to time. this means, it just "stops" for about half a secound where i can do nothing - then everything is fine again. i recognize this if i am connected through a ssh session..

any hints or solutions? i find nothing in the logs that helps (but i am new to arch, so its totally possible i just dont know where to look ...)

Re: network lags from time to time

unfortunately the problem occurs at different places (work, home, customers, public hotspots) with different routers and different ISPs sad
