Hey all,
First time Arch user and poster.
I installed tonight without a hitch, and did "pacman -Sy gnome gnome-extras", which all downloaded and installed fine. However, after they installed, I wanted to followup with installing Xorg. That's when I realized eth0 was dead and not responding to anything. Subsequent reboots are showing the same thing. Pings return unknown host.
My rc.conf and resolv.conf are both configured correctly (as indicated by the Gnome install
), however is there anything I can do to get it up and working? I can't boot into a desktop environment due to not having X, so that kind of sucks ![]()
Thanks in advance,
Chris

I figured it out. I just had to refresh my dhcp, which was weird, cause it just kind of conked out, out of no where.
