Big idiot question

Anytime I run something, it runs fine but I get:

warning: current locale is invalid; using default "C" locale

I read the wiki on what to do; however, my /etc/locale.gen is blank and locale-gen does nothing.

try reinstalling "glibc", the file /etc/locale.gen is a part of this package.  it is possible that pacman will install the new version of this file as locale.gen.pacnew - if so rename it to locale.gen and follow the wiki to set your locale.

Reinstall glibc. Uncomment  "en_US.UTF-8 UTF-8" in /etc/locale.gen and run "locale-gen"
