Thunderbird issues

1. I can't send messages and i know the smtp server is correct but i'm not sure of all the other settings in the smtp tab
2. I make a filter(and a folder which these messages should be moved to obviously) and... nothing happens! Even when i rescan or restart thunderbird.

Any clues?

Re: Thunderbird issues

gah! can't you just tell me it's a bug/known issue!? big_smile But seriously, i don't know what more info i could give you...,OK, I CAN receive mail, but i can't send it..

The filters i'm trying to make i make by right-clicking on an email 'From' header for example and choosing 'make filter from message'

for example all emails from: arch-dev-public-bounces@archlinux.org move to 'arch-dev-list-folder'

and it doesn't work!

Re: Thunderbird issues

is you're smtp server requiring a password for sending mail, and if so is it set correctly?
