lspci | grep Wireless

10:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection (rev2)

lsmod | grep iwl3945

iwl3945 162920 0
mac80211 124292 1 iwl3945

/etc/rc.d/network restart

:: Stopping network [DONE]
:: Starting Network [BUSY]
Error, wlan0: timed out

btw. it's not problem with router, on my computer, wlan works on win ...

Re: wlan

I installed Arch on the same laptop yesterday using iwl3945 and netcfg2. Although I had no experience whatsoever with wlan in linux, it was a piece of cake with the excellent wiki regarding wireless setup.
