lighttpd + php not accessible from outside network

First off, I would like to thank anybody in advance that can offer some help.

I'm trying to run a little site for my clan, but only computers on the inside of the network can access it.  anything outside of my network cannot access it, saying that the server has timed out.  I don't know if it's lighttpd.conf not configured properly, or if it's something else.  I've got my computer DMZ'd in the router, to no avail... still not working.

Latest pacman verison of lighttpd and php.
Router: Actiontec MI424-WR (Verizon FiOS) gonna call them if I can't get it figured out.
The site: http://allornothing.armed.us

Hopefully it's something simple that I've overlooked... and if you have any suggestions on making this more secure (it's stock config file with php enabled and a virtual host)

If there's anything else that you would need, just ask, as I would be more than happy to provide.

Re: lighttpd + php not accessible from outside network

Your computer seems to respond to a ping.  So I'm guessing it's the hosts.allow file.

Try adding

lighttpd:all

to your hosts.allow file.

Note: I do not know if there is any sort of security risk to doing it like that, but it's the simplest thing I can think of.

Re: lighttpd + php not accessible from outside network

If you are on your own LAN, have you tried accessing the site using 192.168.x.x?  Assuming that you have given your host machine that range of IP addresses.

Are you able to access the site from your host machine by typing http://localhost/ in your browser?

Re: lighttpd + php not accessible from outside network

added lighttpd:all to hosts allow, but connection still times out (using proxy to test...)

Re: lighttpd + php not accessible from outside network

You know what, i think Verizon FiOS has it out for us (hosting personal sites on their own computers).  Their ToS states that you are not allowed to host any website on their network, be it Personal or Commercial... well, that sucks, cause I love lighttpd and Arch Linux for hosting (best thing since sliced bread)...  according to others, they are having the same issue, where i guess Verizon blocks incomming port 80, and i dont think my domain will allow me to use port 8080 without the url saying allornothing.armed.us:8080 . thanks for all of the help guys.
