I'm running arch 32 on my AMD Athlon X2. I was wondering if might be possible to specifically instruct a process to run on a specific processor and to have that happen automatically whenever I launch a program?

, but seriously, I would think that it would be better to just leave the scheduling alone, as it should know more about the current state than you.

Let the kernel schedule it on it's own.
If you _must_ though, look up schedtool.
