Recommended USB Wireless Adpater

Hey all,

I am planning to get back to Linux soon because I loved using Arch. The only problem was that my current adapter (Netgear WPN111) only worked using Windows drivers and I had a lot of problems getting it working.

I'm wondering if you could give me some suggestions for a new USB adapter I could buy, that would work almost instantly with Arch. Hopefully not too much configuration.

God knows mate, i've had problems with every wireless adaptor i've used. They all seem to be RT73 based, doesn't matter what I buy lol. Look for one based on the prism2 chipset, thats fairly reliable from what I understand. Happy hunting.

My Ralink dongle works fine, and the drivers are in the kernel now. Check the HCL here for specific make/model details.
