Using arch as a router

Hello guys!
I have a question to ask. i have a pc with 2 network cards and i would like to set it up to use it as a router for my Local Area Network. I'm planning to use the networks 192.168.1.* and 192.168.2.*. I don't know which packets o which progs i need in order to begin searching for information. I would gladly appreciate your help!

Thank you!

Re: Using arch as a router

Hi!

Searching google for 'linux router' I found this interesting page:  http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/home-router-howto.xml

I would also suggest looking at distrowatch to see what packages linux router distributions have.  Distrowatch doesn't have a category for router, you have to select firewalls and then search within the results.

Aside from learning purposes, why reinvent the wheel? I like pfsense myself. pfsense.com
