2008-02-21 02:38:32: (server.c.895) Configuration of plugins failed. Going down.so I check to see what permissions I have on /var/log/lighttpd and I see this..

-rw-r--r-- 1 lighttpd users 408 2008-02-10 00:02 error.log.2.gzHow should these permissions look for this to work? I have had this working now 3 different occasions and for some reason after an update all hell breaks lose and I am back to square one trying to get lighttpd working again. Someone please shed some light on this issue for me please and also tell me how to keep permissions intact regardless of what update happens. I am sick of fixing permissions...
the way I see it all I need do is change the owner of files owned by nobody to lighttpd and all should be ok?

Since it's happened 3 times now, I'd wonder which program's upgrade is causing this. You might be able to stop it from happening again. What does
tail -n 20 /var/log/pacman.log
give you?
