Hi there,
I'm trying to get Dokuwiki to authenticate again AD.
Dokuwiki setup with Apache and PHP.
I've enabled the ldap module in PHP, but am getting this error when I visit the dokuwiki site.
LDAP err: PHP LDAP extension not found. [ldap.class.php:25]
Any ideas?

It seems the LDAP extension is not active. The LDAP backend of DokuWiki checks if php's ldap_connect() function is availabe, if that's not the case it throws the above error. Have you checked if it's listed in the output of phpinfo()?

I did check that, it has:
--with-ldap=shared
not sure if that means it's enabled of not, it's the normal ArchLinux build of PHP.

you probably need to uncomment the module in the php.ini file
look for..
;extension=ldap.soand remove the ; from the front.

I did that (that's how I enabled PHP, see first post), then restarted apache, but no luck.

Installing package pam_ldap solves this issue.
