Arch 64 with 2.6.24 kernel, Broadcom BCM4306 card, rev 02, using b43legacy driver. I can see the network and connect to it, but whenever I run "iwconfig wlan0 ap auto", I get:
wlan0: associate with AP 00:0d:72:02:af:61
wlan0: associate with AP 00:0d:72:02:af:61
wlan0: associate with AP 00:0d:72:02:af:61
wlan0: association with AP 00:0d:72:02:af:61 timed out
That is, three lines saying it associates with the AP, then the association times out. So I can't actually use the connection. Also, whenever I do this (run iwconfig wlan0 ap auto), my other computer connected to the same wlan loses its own connection for a few minutes. I'm baffled as to what's causing this.
I tried switching to ndiswrapper, using the bcmwl5 driver, but when I tried that the wlan0 interface wouldn't even load. At least with b43legacy I can get the network up and scan and so forth.

Er, those four lines are enteries in dmesg. iwconfig doesn't actually return anything, it just says that the essid and access point are what I set them to be.
