We don't delete posts. When you figure something out, post the frickin' solution so others don't have to ask again. Why would you wipe out your whole post?

hmm I did not know that.

My ISP, which is the same as a buddy of mine's, filters out certain ports. I was checking up on the security of my system and decided to check his only to find out that some Window's related service ports were showing up. Turns out, they're only showing up because they're filtered out by the ISP, not because they're actually being used on the system.

I'll have to remember that next time. *slap to the forehead*

Does it have anything to do with a filtered 1720 port showing up when you scan your box with nmap?
