Interesting Persistent Logon

Hi, I'm having a little problem w/ my server. I'm connecting to it via SSH to do things and my username(s) sometime don't get logged off... Here is what i mean

I'm using putty to connect, and as you can see, June 20,22,23 (20:03) should be logged off but "who" tells me they still exist.

how do i logout from these pts/xx ? i know i could kill the proc. but the problem will still arise...
