Conky Issues

I have an 'if_running' clause for mpd and an 'if_mounted' clause for my external drive.

However, I think its not checking the conditions because I get these errors on my vc/1

Conky: statfs '/media/WD500' : No such file or directory

Conky: MPD error: problems getting a response from localhost on port 6600: Connection refused

Needless to say this is on a fresh boot up and I still havent mounted my external drive and neither started mpd daemon.

Here's my conkyrc

I don't seem to have any issues running movies or music. Although Skype has stopped working. It rings when I call someone, but when someone answers the call, it gives me an error "Problem capturing audio device". This has just started recently, so I am sure it must be something that I did.

Can someone suggest a possible course of action to help me get rid of these errors?

Thanks koro, I tried out all the stuff listed in the link. Unfortunately, it did not work for me.

The errors still appear on the console when I start Skype. Although, I don't seem to have any issues using Skype. I was just curious as to why I got those errors in the first place.
