[solved] Safe to symlink ~/images to ntfs folder?

I've set up my windows data partition to automatically mount to /windows/Data with the ntfs-3g driver.

Is it safe for me to symlink ~/images from my xfs home partition to /windows/Data/My\ Documents/My\ Pictures?  If I do this and then save a file to the ~/images path, will it save the file correctly to the ntfs folder?

Re: [solved] Safe to symlink ~/images to ntfs folder?

Should be fine, unless the drive gets unmounted for some reason, if which case the symlink will be broken... It will be fine again though as soon as the partition is mounted again, and shouldn't cause any problems other than what you would experience if you tried to access "/windows/Data/My\ Documents/My\ Pictures" while it was unmounted...
