wicd, wpa... do not connect

Hi!

I have a wireless at home, and installed wicd to use it when I go outside...

I have configured it using all the usual info (the same that I use in the netcfg2 wpa file)
But it keeps trying to Validating athentication a couple of minutes and cancel...

what can be wrong?

here my rc.conf stuff:

MODULES=(r8169 iwl3945 snd-mixer-oss snd-pcm-oss snd-hwdep snd-page-alloc snd-pcm snd-timer snd snd-hda-intel soundcore acpi-cpufreq cpufreq_ondemand fuse)

HOSTNAME="notebook"

NETWORKS=(wpa)

DAEMONS=(syslog-ng !network hal net-profiles portmap nfslock netfs wicd @sensors @crond @cpufreq @alsa)

(using netcfg2 it works ok)

Re: wicd, wpa... do not connect

I have problems even starting the wicd daemon after an update a while ago. It is unusable for me right now. I had to switch over to netcfg2. I've noticed there is a lot of stability issues with some python applications, like pypanel, nitrogen, and wicd.

I have to configure something in the wpa_supplicant file?
