Problem connecting on the internet using Konqueror

When I connect to the internet using Konqueror I get this ERROR Message:

The requested operation could not be completed
Connection to Server Refused
Details of the Request:

Additional Information: www.google.com: Unknown error

The server www.google.com refused to allow this computer to make a connection.

Please help me, It seems that when I'm using the Gran Paradiso it is really slow surfing the net compared to Firefox on my xp.  Gran Paradiso is based on firefox with mods.  It's just slow for me thats why I wanna try Konqueror...HELP
