problem with archassistant/netcfg

Hello, all!

Yesterday i installed arch linux in my asus eeepc 701 surf. I searched for an easy way of managing wireless connections and i ended up using the combination of archassistant/netcfg.

It works fine with my wep encrypted connection at home, but  i found out that when i search for available networks it only shows wep/wap encrypted networks and not the unencrypted ones. Do i do something wrong?? any idea of what to do in order to be shown the unencrypted networks too??

Re: problem with archassistant/netcfg

i solved my problem by using wicd which is simply fine. I ve already reported my problem to the aur page so if it's a bug the maintainer will be informed.

Any word on an actual fix for this issue? I would like to use Arch Assistant, but this issue is the only one holding me back.
