Deluge Won't Start

When I try to start up Deluge I get a blank window and I get this console output repleatedly:

[DEBUG   ] 15:48:57 signalreceiver:77 Trying again with another port: (-2, 'Name or service not known')

This is the first time running it by the way. Any idea what's wrong?

I'm having the exact same problem (debug msg is identical), but i don't know what's causing it. I've reinstalled, deleted config files.  I suspect it's a gtk issue, but haven't found a fix yet.
