I've started using the program volwheel due to the ALSA problem outlined here: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=47784
It's great and all, but what I would really like to do is bind my laptop's volume keys to control volwheel. My guess is I just need to bind them to the commands "volwheel -i" and "volwheel -d" but I can't figure out how to do this. I have tried using keytouch-editor but didn't make any progress.
Is such a thing possible? If so, how would I go about doing it?

why dont you just bind them to amixer? Volwheel probably uses amixer anyway...
He hoped and prayed that there wasn't an afterlife. Then he realized there was a contradiction involved here and merely hoped that there wasn't an afterlife.
