how to let apache read dir out of http

Hey all,
i have set up Jinzora according to the wiki and like it, but i would like to add a directory
to it that does not fit on my internal hard drive, but on a usb connected, always on, external hard drive.
so if it shows up as /media/disk and the directory is /music ( /media/disk/music), how can i make it to where i can put a symlink in the /srv/http/jinzora folder and it work? i guess i need jinzora or apache think the directory is in the web accessable, but  it is just to big to copy there.
