AR2431 Problem

I recently purchased a new hard drive (WD6400AAKS - great drive, only two platters), and because of this, I decided to reinstall both Arch, and XP.
The install of XP went fine, as did the arch install.
Previously, the device was named ath0, and had worked fine, but on this new install, I have no ath0, but wlan0 instead.
I had set up my rc.conf with ath0 as the device name, which obviously didn't work, due to it not existing, so I changed it to reflect the new device name.
Upon restarting the network daemon, the interface times out, leaving me with no connection.

I remember having to use net-profiles after some update broke my wireless, so I even tried that, but to no avail.

Any help would be much appreciated, as after almost exclusively using arch for six months, XP is horrid.

Edit: I get these errors when trying to connect:

err, wlan0: lease information file '/var/lib/dhcpcd/dhcpcd-wlan0.info' does not exist
err, wlan0: timed out
warn, wlan0: using IPV4LL address 169.254.145.88

Re: AR2431 Problem

Can you post the contents of /etc/rc.conf ?
And the output of lspci -v ?

Re: AR2431 Problem

Sorry about the wait, I managed to trash my Arch partition.
I'm currently posting from Links, from an older install disk.
I'm doing a full update now, and I'll report back once it's done.
