Gnome Opens TCP port

Hi Archers,

I am using Gnome and it seems that Gnome has opened two tcp ports on my PC. I have this from netstat command:

tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:46750           0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN      6975/gnome-session 
tcp        0      0 :::48383                :::*                    LISTEN      6975/gnome-session 

So what are these ports and how can I disable them?
