Hi,
I'm trying to set up an IP-based configuration for vsftpd. The way to do this seems to be:
1. Launching vsftpd via xinetd (works)
2. Editing /etc/hosts.allow according to ftp://vsftpd.beasts.org/users/cevans/un … FIG/README - however, this does not work. The additional configuration file is ignored.
Does anybody have an idea?
EDIT: By default, tcp_wrappers gets patched so that setenv.o is no more built, it seems. However, I don't know how to change that.
SOLUTION: Recompile tcp_wrappers with "STYLE=-DPROCESS_OPTIONS" and follow the instructions under 2.
