light dyndns updater for 64bit?

Since ddclient is rather heavy on system ressources, i am searching for an alternative.
I was using inadyn on my 32bit box, which works fine, but it doesnt seem to run on 64bit...

Anyone knows an alternative to ddclient?

Are you sure inadyn doesn't run on 64bit architectures? Are you building it from source or downloading binaries (which are possibly built for 32bit machines) ?

I'm surprised a ddns updater uses any resources at all.

Many routers offer a DDNS updater, so if you have a linksys or belkin that might be worth checking.

inadyn works on amd64 (plus a ton of other arches) in Debian - check Debian's patches.
