I use fetchmail as a daemon with "keep" enabled to use the mail server as a backup. Unfortunately fetchmail forgets which mails it already has downloaded at every startup (system is powered down every evening, powered up every morning) and fetches all the mails from the server. It seems that the information needed is stored at /var/run/fetchmail/.fetchids and cleaned up with every reboot.
Does anyone have a similar setup?

before we could run we were dancing.
