Hello, are there any graphical front end for pppd?
My dad uses this type of connection on his xp, I want to setup this also on Arch...
Any ideas?
Thanks

I did some searching and found this two:
Eznet
http://www.hwaci.com/sw/eznet/
Kdsl
http://kdslbroadband.sourceforge.net/
Unfortunately, searching them on AUR resulted to none...:(
If there can be alternatives please tell me...:)
Thank you

Since you are using KDE, kppp is nice. But I am not sure if you really mean pppd or pppoe.
Wvdial is not graphical, but is extermely easy and proficient.

Oh, consider that I have never used KDE4 so it is possible that kpp disappeared or became ugly, I do not know.

I've just read this wiki http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PPP … _with_pppd and it mentions about pppd.
Yes, I'm referring to pppoe...
Thanks alot, gonna try it later...

I think to remember that kppp can manage pppoe connections too. On the contrary ignore the suggestion about wvdial
