Hi,
I have a wifi connection, which sometimes looses the signal from the router and disconnects.
Does netcfg automatically reconnect (maybe with some options)?
If no, are there other software that can do that?
Also, is there a prog which can use virtual interfaces (like bonding)?

wicd can do a reconnection..

well,
I would prefer something independent from X, like netcfg

The wireless device will usually automatically re-associate to the network. Unless it has been a particularly long drop out, the previously set IP address, etc will still work.
My girlfriend's place has brick walls which are death to wifi signals, but there's a few lucky spots which get decent reception through doors if you position the computer correctly. It's always dropping out and re-associating, but it does work.
