Atheros problems, and VPN problems

1. This should be a quite simple question. I have an Atheros WLAN card, have installed madwifi drivers. ath_pci and ath_hal are running, ath5k however isn't. I try iwconfig, and ath0 shows up, OK.
If i do iwlist scan, it scans and finds my AP. When I try connecting to my AP using wpa_supplicant -D madwifi -i ath0 -c /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf i get the following: Associated with 00:00:00:00:00:00... timed out. And I can't connect.
Any ideas what could be the problem? wpa_supplicant.conf is correct, cause the same works on other pc...

2. Other, a bit more complicated question. I connect to the internet through a VPN. First i connect via wlan to my router, and then i dial a connection using PPTP http://pptpclient.sourceforge.net/ I manage to connect, and I am able to ping www.google.com, but i cannot open any web pages in Firefox. These are my routes, i suppose the problem is somewhere in them :S

Just because something works on another pc it doesn't mean it will work on yours unless it is EXACTLY equal (in which case if everything is equal it would work anyway). You need to post more details otherwise the we just get a crystal ball error and please be patient, if someone thinks that he or she might be able to help you a post will show up. Also looking in the wiki and googling might give you some hints to solve your problem.

Okay, I solved problem #2 by setting the MTU for ppp0 to 1406. Finally alah damn it smile
