Networkmanager 0.7

I've installed the newest networkmanager but It wont load correctly. The deamon seems to work, but the nm-applet dosn't start correctly.
It gives me a fancy dbus error, I can remember it correctly because I'm at school right now, but I will post the error msg when I arrive at home ;-)

Re: Networkmanager 0.7

Maybe you have to install network-manager-applet 0.7 instead gnome-network-manager. It's in testing smile

Re: Networkmanager 0.7

Yes that worked ;-)
but I still get some errors, it seems like there is something with priviligies, cuz I have to start the applet with sudo to make it work.

Any ideas?

Re: Networkmanager 0.7

did you add yourself to the 'network' group?

They say that if you play a Win cd backward you hear satanic messages. That's nothing! 'cause if you play it forwards, it installs windows.

that isn't neccesary anymore, consolekit and policykit should be enough (at least it works that way here wink)

you could try to find out if consolekit detected your session with ck-list-sessions. how do you log in?
