[solved] --gnome weather applet not working

I have a strange problem with gnome weather applet that you add to your task bar.
If I add it to the bar it works, if I reboot it does not display the weater because it fails to connect.
I can hit update a million times but nothing happens.
If I remove it and add it again it works.

Same thing with stocks applet.

Anyone have any ideas?

For the weather, I used to use weather applet, but now I am using the one come with the Gnome clock. It seems that both of them use the same weather data source.
