Im not sure there is still drivers for it
when i plug it in
i get this in the dmesg

v gear is the manufacturer, there should be a model somewhere with that, a quick google should let you know what driver you need.

Other than that you could check to see what windows detects it as and check the driver from there.

Re: How cian I use my webcam ?

connect the cam and then do a

lsusb

and it will tell you the device Id and the make. Then you can follow the wiki guide to see if any of the drivers apply to your make and model.

Mine(Creative) doesn't work even after trying out 2 different drivers, so its gonna be iffy. I was trying it out in Skype, but it seems Skype doesn't support V4L2 yet, so I am not sure if its Skype or the webcam itself giving me problems.
