Today I was trying to install spamassassin. According to all the articles on the wiki and some commonsense, I installed the spamassassin package. Spamd is now up and running.
So now I need spamc for my postfix install. Because its not in the spamassassin package, I tried to install spamassassin-spamc package. But that package wants to remove the spamassassin package, when I agree with the removal I'm missing my spamd...
How are you guys installing spamassassin in a way you can use spamd en spamc in harmony? Hope you can help me out!

Anyone who can give me a hand here?

To my understanding, spamc is just the client, I suppose it's so you can connect to a remote database, but I'm not entirely sure.
Anyway, the way I got it to work was to simply install spamassassin, which contained both spamc and spamd.
