x11vnc problems

hi people,

i'm trying to set x11vnc up, so that i can offer remote support for this machine...

anyway, i have managed to connect and share the current desktop, but when when the connection is terminated x goes a bit funny. the arrow keys in an xterm insert A B C and D characters rather than move the cursor and after a little while x locks up and uses 100% cpu (checked via ssh), but then ssh dies as well and i have to hard reset the box.

how do i go about tracing the problem?

additional info: arch 2009.02, nv driver for riva tnt card, fluxbox

thank you!

Re: x11vnc problems

ha! there is actually no x11vnc problems... it is the nv driver for the video card. as soon as you 'overload' the keyboard x starts using 100% cpu. vesa doesn't want to go more than 1024x768 (and i want 1440x900 or at least 1280x1024), the old nvidia drivers aren't supported in the new xorg... so i'm stuck. it sucks.
