cant move/delete files

so i had a couple hard drives that i got from a friend, he had piles of music on tehre and what not. so anyway, i ended up configuring them with LVM one by one to preserve the data. they're in a folder called brock, since its stuff i got from him. now im trying to sort through it, and it wont let me move/rename/delete, etc from my user, so i tried chown -R, and chmod -R 777.....and i still cant touch them. here's my ls-l output, not sure what to do, since as you can see, anyone on this machine should have full access

did u try to see the permissions of the actualy file not just the directory?

What's the actual error you're getting?

And the output of `mount`?

Did you tried copying them with root to your folder and then changing the permissions?

i copied the files to where they are with the root acount when i was setting up the LVM volume. im using LXDE, and i can check teh permissions that way, and it says i have the permissions there, and i've checked random files within that folder and persmissions are fine there as well. but whenever i try to move/rename a file, it just says permission denied. the volume is mounted at boot

here's what i get if i try to move it from command line

[urmom@myhost ~]$ mv /home/brock/ /home/urmom/brock
mv: cannot move `/home/brock/' to `/home/urmom/brock': Permission denied

here's within the folder

Check the permissions on /home/urmom/brock .
Maybe you created that folder as root ?
