lock screen in wmii

Hello.
Sorry for my first post being a question, but
I use wmii at work and I would like to be able
to lock my screen. How should I go about it?
A screensaver would be nice, but is unnecessary.

Re: lock screen in wmii

Install xscreensaver - for screensaver

xlock/slock - to lock the screen.

vlock - to lock a terminal/tty

how do i start xscreensaver as a daemon everytime wmii boots up, but without showing the configuration screen?

Re: lock screen in wmii

Just put it in your .xinitrc:

xscreensaver -nosplash &

Then, to lock your screen, you can do:

xscreensaver-command -lock
