Menu.xml questions

Hi All

How do I know when to enable startupnotify on a menu item? Also, how do I know when I need to set a wmware and what to set it to?

Thanks in advance,
Adam

Re: Menu.xml questions

I will post an excerpt from it tonight. I am at work at the moment. Basically, I am manually editing my menu.xml and there are two flags. Some items have

<startupnotify>
<enabled>yes</enabled>
</startupnotify>

while others don't and I don't know what this means/does/when it should be implemented. There is another parameter that I think is something like

<wmware>firefox</wmware>

that I have the same questions about (if you look at the default menu.xml, I think firefox is one of the few with this tag.) Like I said I will post a more explicit post tonight rather than me guessing but for now I think that's all the details I have.

What's your Window Manager? Openbox?

Re: Menu.xml questions

you probably meant wmclass instead of wmware in your post above. Check this link which explains why it is used
