Networkmanager won't use static ip

I edited rc.conf and used these settings:

eth0="eth0 192.168.0.150 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 192.168.0.255"
INTERFACES=(lo !eth0)

but network manager isn't reading and asigning me .150, I keep getting .11, but the wiki says it should work just like this... sad

i think that method worked for networkmanager 0.6. in networkmanager 0.7 you can assign static ip right clicking on the icon from tray and choose edit connection
