Setup NAT network in virtualbox [SOLVED]

Hi,

I am using virtualbox_bin from the community repository and have tried to setup a NAT Internet interface for my windows xp guest on an archlinux host

my problem is that i can get onto my isp's page but not any other page, i can also ping my default gateway but not any other ip adress, when i ping "www.google.com" it gives me an error saying ping could not find a host www.gogle.com

it seems that my virtulbox install of windows is being blocked by my isp's router

anyone know how to fix this problem??

Re: Setup NAT network in virtualbox [SOLVED]

You have a dns server problem, it seems to be a problem (read bug) with some of the latest vbox versions, somehow it is not set properly when using dhcp.
Set the dns server manually and it should work.
